My Creative Space:: A Busy Place

There has been quite a bit of creating going on in the past few days. Firstly I made 2 more pairs of shoes for my niece.

They arrived in Sydney today and my sister in law was thrilled!

The weather is finally warming up so I thought I’d take my latest Ruby doll outside for a photo shoot.

She’s a present for my little friend Hollie. I work with Hollie’s dad and every now and again when Hollie rings her Dad at work she asks to speak to me – it’s so cute! Plus much nicer than some of the phone calls I get at work.

Yes - I've been baking - I just love cupcakes with pink icing and smarties - Who doesn't!

My lesson learnt with these though is not to try and do three jobs while waiting for cakes that take 10 minutes... I rushed stuffing Hollie's doll (had to restuff it later) and over cooked the first batch, then having NOT learnt my lesson I tried to figure out how to connect the fertilizer to the hose while burning the second batch. Nothing pink icing can't cover... extra icing that is!

Note Peter Alexander slippers in shot.. so pretty

  1. Love those slippers and hey where's my cake ??? I will have to think of an adult version of those shoes/slippers - put some harder wearing fabric on the bottom ??????
