My Creative Space

Again I'm busy with Christmas presents. When I made 6 sleeping masks a couple of weeks ago I would never have guessed that I'd need more.. Mum has asked me to make some for her (to give as presents) and I've since worked out that they are a very nice gift so I'm making more. I've got this batch half way though. and this fabric waiting to be cut..I'm also making yoyo's for the playmat I'm making for my niece. After the disaster with the felt shrinking in the wash I unpicked it but tore some tiny holes in the mat... (very frustrating). The yoyos are an attempt to hide the rips without it looking like I'm trying to hide anything... cross your fingers for me. I'd love to show you the mat but it will have to wait til after Christmas.

    I've got everything crossed for you Cherry. It's always so disappointing when a simple mistake ends in a hole, or a cut or something that seems irreversible. Yoyos sound like a great fix... good luck.

    Those eye masks are gorgeous! They must be lovely to make as you can change the fabric and the whole look each time.
