Meet Archibald - he's the newest member of our softie family. He likes green vegetables, flossing his teeth and playing chess when it rains. He doesn't like the smell of fish, it makes him sneeze. His friends call him Archie.
Hi Archie, you sound very nice but behave yourself around those beautiful girls you live with - 'spose you could hang out with Mr G for a while - he's not fond of fish either
Welcome to our blog! We've created Bright Red Cherries so that we can share our craft projects

Meet Cherry...
I grew up surrounded by creative women, my mother, grandmother and granny always had projects going. Granny was an amazing knitter, Grandma made us all the most wonderful dolls and Mum (Cathy), well she can do everything!
One of my earliest childhood memories is lying in bed at night listening to the sounds of the overlocker. It still makes me sleepy.
I love to crochet and sew and over the coming winter want to polish my knitting skills. I live in Adelaide with my husband and we are expecting our first baby in September.
Meet Cathy...
I grew up sitting by my mothers legs while she sewed all our clothes and collected the bits of cotton and fabric.
One Christmas when I was 7 I was lucky enough to get my own sewing machine and very quickly realised that the only stitch it had was a chain stitch which pulled undone way too easliy and all my little dolls clothes fell apart. So while dreaming of a 'real' machine I taught myself to knit dolls clothes. They lasted much longer!
